The Wunderkind Contemporary Artist Collective is a gathering of like-minded individuals who not only excel in the arts but also share a profound love for music and want a group space to work on art alongside their peers. Our collective aims to merge these two vibrant worlds, crafting some of the most distinctive studio and exhibition experiences in Wichita. Picture this: you come into the studio to work, and there's always live music playing to inspire and entertain you while you create your masterpieces! That’s the essence of what we’re all about! Plus, there will be plenty of networking opportunities and chances to showcase your work both in our space and beyond.
What is the meaning behind the price difference?
In essence, our goal is to provide options for individuals with varying budgets to apply and become part of the collective. We understand the challenges artists face, as well as artists should know the challenges involved in managing a collective and gallery. Therefore, we are offering a range of pricing based on the amount of monthly wall space you desire, alongside the associated benefits.
- $100 tier: 2' x 2' dedicated wall space, with your name and one social in vinyl above the space, with 20% commission on sales.
- $200 tier: 3'x3' dedicated wall space, with your name and one social in vinyl above the space, with 15% commission on sales.
- $300 tier: 4'x4' dedicated wall space, with your name and one social in vinyl above the space, with 10% commission on sales.
What are the Collective membership perks?

Dedicated Wall Space for every collective member.
You will receive 2'x2' to 4'x4' of wall space, depending on your monthly payment, to showcase (and hopefully sell!) one of your masterpieces, in the back creative room, where the chill art activities happen during concerts. Additionally, the commission back to the gallery is tiered from 10% to 20%, based on your selected tier. We would do 0% commission, but through the 10+ years of seeing spaces with no commission, we have found sales teams put in little to no effort to sell the work on your behalf. So, we are shrinking it to a manageable amount, so that our sales team can make money from selling works of other artists, as well.
*This 10-20% commission applies only to your assigned 2'x2' to 4'x4' area; any artwork displayed in other parts of the gallery will incur the standard 30% commission. (For instance, if you participate in a group exhibition where we allocate you an entire wall for a mini-exhibition, the higher commissions in other areas are essential for maintaining the gallery's operations.)

Open Studios with Live Music
As mentioned in our initial description, we are a group of artists who thrive on the energy of music while we create. We offer up to three days a week for this unique experience (depending on the availability of our music collective members eager to practice).
Join us on Tuesdays and Thursdays for studio sessions in the main room, running from 8pm - 1am, which the venue is exclusively only open for collective members to work on art and practice music. Additionally, every Sunday from 6pm to mdnight, while we host Bring Your Own Vinyl nights, you will have additional time to set up and work on art. BYOV is a public event, so feel free to invite your friends! Our open art studios welcome everyone to come and create during our weekly Bring Your Own Vinyl gathering. Not only can you work on your artistic projects, but you can also bring along one (or several!) of your favorite vinyl records. Our vinyl DJ will play them on the turntables, creating a vibrant atmosphere for art-making and socializing!

Online Marketplace Inclusion + Inclusion in VR Exhibitions
With over 20 years of experience in the arts, our director understands precisely what drives art sales. A crucial factor in selling artwork is enhancing your online and social media presence through captivating presentations and increased visibility, allowing new clients to discover and connect with your work. In light of this, we are pleased to offer complimentary inclusion of your artwork in the Gallery’s online shop, provided you supply high-quality images. Furthermore, we will be organizing Virtual Reality exhibitions showcasing both the main gallery and the back rooms, meaning your piece in the 4’x4’ space will also feature in these VR shows!
*Sales originating from the online marketplace or VR exhibitions will incur a 30% commission rate.
