About Wunderkind Contemporary

Wunderkind Contemporary is a new 2600 square feet gallery coming to Wichita, Kansas, featuring a dynamic curated selection dedicated to red chip and blue chip contemporary artists from around the world!

Our mission is to invigorate Wichita's art scene with fresh and innovative styles of contemporary art from around the world, rather than just waiting for great works to be unveiled locally. However, we are far from being anti-local. Locals’ artworks selected by our curation director will be included on the walls, either through primary consignment or purchase award from the gallery’s very own team of collectors. We support art and we buy art, we don’t just exhibit it! So, this allows us to tear down gatekeeping practices and focus solely on art we would include in our own collection, so you can have faith when purchasing art from us, it is vetted to invest into your own homes and businesses! 

In collaboration with White Rabbit, we are creating a completely unique experience when viewing art. We will be having full concerts and multi-media immersive experiences during first and final fridays, all with free entry into the space, so everyone can experience the sensation of White Rabbit for themselves!

This synergy of visual art and musical talent will hopefully spark creativity, igniting a continuous circle of inspiration. With our two decades of experience in the art and music scene, we are here to show you the collective dreams we have envisioned for our city!
