Traveling between Texas and New York, Legend D'Oro began losing his sight at a young age due to a rare condition. Last we spoke, he was classified as legally blind. Instead of allowing his visual impairment to define his artistic journey, he embraced it, honing a unique style that combines imagination and tactile exploration, in which he daydreams during the process of creating his art

Legend's artistic process is deeply influenced by his experiences and the stories that resonate with him, from his time in the military and stories he has experienced or have been shared with him. Drawing inspiration from those around him, he often engages in conversations that draw out personal histories and collective memories. These narratives become the foundation of his artwork, allowing him to weave a tapestry of emotions and realities that speak to a universal audience.
