Collection: James Snuffer

I have only been an artist for about ten years. But by a nudge from above I found an amazing way of life!  Being an artist was something I had never considered, but I pushed myself to give it a go!  At first I experimented with watercolors. They were cheap and didn’t require much of an investment. The results were better than I had expected so I also tried acrylics, which I found to be a lot of fun. Finally I bought some oil paints and I fell in love with their look and feel. 

So, for someone who had previously displayed little artistic talent I was amazed to learn how much I would enjoy the art form. I progressed quickly and within a year was producing high quality paintings and selling my work on a regular basis. And I now have collectors in countries all over the world.  My skills over the past decade have steadily improved and now painting is my full time occupation.  In all its forms painting is a great source of fun, inspiration, and endlessly challenging. Something I don’t mind having as an obsession! My style is a unique blend of Realism, Pop Art, and Abstraction.
